Ladies Lead NH

A Scholarship to Empower New Hampshire’s Next Generation of Female Leaders

About

Ladies Lead NH is a scholarship dedicated to advancing the cause of liberty by empowering the next generation of female leaders in New Hampshire. Inspired by trailblazing women like Marilla Ricker—who championed equal rights and personal freedom—and by New Hampshire’s legacy as the first state with an all-female congressional delegation, this scholarship celebrates women who lead by example, think independently, and value individual autonomy.
The Ladies Lead NH scholarship is designed to cover qualifying educational expenses for talented young women in New Hampshire who are committed to furthering the principles of liberty, self-ownership, and personal responsibility through leadership. We seek applicants who demonstrate a passion for advancing freedom in their communities—whether by advocating for individual rights, fostering open dialogue, or creating opportunities for others to flourish.
By investing in the education of future leaders, this scholarship aims to ensure that New Hampshire’s tradition of strong, independent women in leadership continues to thrive. We believe that when women are free to pursue their ambitions and exercise their talents, they become powerful agents of change—championing liberty, innovation, and progress for all.
This version maintains the female focus while weaving in the values of liberty, autonomy, and individual empowerment, as exemplified by women leaders in the classical liberal tradition.
